i went back to HK and bought 2 rubbers on the last day of vancation(which is today)
i spent HK$400 on TG3#21 and sriverFX G2
the TG3 is definitely cheaper than the ones which i bought in Sg and it is the 1st time for me to get the sriverFX G2, oh by the way, is there any difference in sriverFX G2 and G3??? the price is HK$150 difference

the sponge of the TG3#19 is also very different from the previous batches
-----the sponge is in blue like the national ones
-----and also the smell is different from the oranges sponges

i m planning to glue the rubbers by tuesday morning and get to play in the afternoon
i will try to post a review here

i just get to play for 1 hr today and found out that the TG3#21 is very suitable for me on the FH which can loop alot in the mid range and far range.
it also has a gd touch(control), while the speed(quite bouncy) is rather faster than the H series with #19 sponge.
but for close net attacks, u will feel theres a lack of spin, but doing a flick is very fine
if u a playing blockings, TG3#21 can also be a gd choice, even my friend do a heavy top spin power loop( u can say it is a slower version of smash)while u a close to the table edge; u can simply do a light push or active block with execllent control.

for FX G2, it has a firm grip on the ball, creating powerful spins.
as it is a member of sriver, the control is guaranteed for almost all Techniques, 'casue i feel that when i m doing BH blockings, i m need some focus, if not the ball will "dash' out of table
as compared to nittaku narucross EX soft, FX G2 is slower
although it is a gd rubber and suitable for my bh style, i feel still it lacks of something which i dont noe how to tell

oh by the way how much is yor siteselling G3?? here it sell G3 for less than S$70 (US$45.6710)

i will be posting more on these 2 rubbers about their durability and performance level once i get the chance to play more

thx

Hey Erika

Can you compare the TG3#21 with Tenergy 05/64?

Thanks, Martin

i never tried any tenergy b4

but i noe that T64 is softer so is gd for BH
while T05 is harder

i had being playing the 2 rubbers for 2 weeks now, and the performance level never drop in term of spin, control and speed.

so conclusion is that butterfly products are expensive but long lasting
so i will be planning to try butterfly rubbers (G3 FX or bryce speed FX) for my BH next time when i change my rubbers again

i played with tg3 on different sponges but not that one, the control is excellent the speed is superb, its like choosing a spot on the table pointing, and throwing it back as hard as you can, its no where near as spinny as h2 but its stil way more spinnier than other rubber and remains one of my favorite, given the blue sponge, would you say it increases the spin? i had played h2 with that sponge a year or to ago, i remember it being good, but have to have another go at it again

the #21 blue sponge is different from the H2 blue sponge u had played 1 yr ago

it has no power and very dead, displacement also not that good compare to the #20 series
