What are the rubbers that you think that are the best for every kind of type of play??

Hey Ch4rlus

I tried many LP-rubbers. I'm a real allround player and Milky Way Neptune with 0.7 mm spong is the most effective allround rubber I tried by now. Neptune creates a lot of spin reversal at mid distance, is quite safe at blocking and there are many interesting options to attack.

I see. Very interesting point if view, thanx a lot. I didn't tried Neptune, yet, but I'd like to. Some players say that it is a very "easy to play" rubber, so I must try it.

Are the pushes efficient enough?

I used to play with sponge pips but now i've tried Grass DTecks, i'm a "oX lover" (for the moment, only GDT's got enough speed to play without sponge).

I wish we could discuss more longer about our experiences :)

Hey Charlus

Pushes with a black Neptune topsheet are efficient enough. I häd more problems with the red ones. If the oponent often plays to my bh I twiddle and play backhand loops with the inverted what is very surprisingly. Normally I don't often push with my bh. Instead I'm playing some bh flicks or the lp loops. That's the reason I like Neptune, all is possible.

Hey Martin,

Thanks for advices. I decided to try Neptune. I want to test other LP (one, at least), and yesterday, I was asking for tips to my team mates : most of them adviced me about Joola Octopus.

What do u (or friends) know about Octopus? I'll try Neptune + Octopus maybe in june (after ranked matches season), oX both.

By the way, I'm french (sorry for mistakes :), what about u?

cheers

Salut Ch4rlus

I'm Swiss and speak German. I had a lot of french lessons at school :-)

I tried the Octopus and found it very hard to control near the table. At mid distance this rubber works better.
